Bro-Ha-Ha 09/14/18: Guys, Games, and Good Times

Andrew Hood prepares for a match of Dragon Ball FighterZ with his friends. FighterZ is a fighting game based off the popular anime Dragon Ball Z.

Students gather T00-2 to get their hands on a controller to play Super Smash Brothers. The game pits a cast of classic Video game characters against each other in a free-for-all, last man standing battle.
Cian Weekly (left) and Abram Wulf connect Weekly’s Nintendo Switch to a projector to play Mario Tennis Aces in T00-3. Students could borrow almost any room they wanted, but in order to leave they must have completed a checklist that includes things like moving furniture back.
Ben Ravnsborg picks his tam for a game of dodgeball in the Mullen Gym. Numerous sports were played at the Bro-Ha-Ha including dodgeball, basketball, and even indoor soccer.

Grant Morrissey makes a move to get to the rim. Both the Heider Center and the Mullen Gym were open for students to play in.
Students practice their 3-point shot in the Heider Center. The court got a new look over the summer with a complete redesign of the court markings.
Xavier Vaughn rocks on in the popular band simulator game, Guitar Hero. The song he is playing is “Through the Fire and Flames” by Dragonforce, which is notorious for being extremely difficult.
Mr. Dan Kennedy SJ looks over the commons as he organizes the event from the dean’s office. Kennedy started the event in 2017 and plans to have 3 more in the 2018-2019 school year alone.
The admissions table takes a break to eat some Chik-Fil-A. The popular chicken restaurant catered the Bro-Ha-Ha, providing chicken sandwiches and chips.
Max Murphy plays a game of Beatsaber VR on a Lenovo Explorer. Beatsaber VR is a music based game that involves slicing virtual blocks with colored swords in order to play a song.
