Basketball: The Jr. Jays basketball team has had an explosive start to the season, with a record of 16-3. The teams that the Jr. Jays have fallen to are Bellevue West, Westside, and Omaha Central.

“They are all really good teams. Collectively as a group we have to do a better job preparing week to week for games. Not just big games but games against teams we should be beating,” Coach Joshua Luedtke said. “One thing I tell my guys is when you put that Prep jersey on everyone wants to beat you, even if it is their only win of the season.”

Wrestling: Wrestling has had a solid season so far finishing 4th in the Metro Tournament, with Jack Hasz winning the 285 lb weight class champion.

“Some people have us ranked 9th or 10th so we are right there with the top 10 teams in the state. We have districts and state coming up in February and be looking for us to make some noise!” said Coach Andrew Fisher.

Hockey: The season for the Creighton Prep hockey team has started off well. The team has a 10-7-2 record.

“We are definitely getting better as a team. The rest of the season is going to be pretty tough, we face two of the best teams, Millard South and Fremont twice,” said junior Sal Cacioppo.
