Meet the Jay Journal Staff

To get to know each student member of the Jay Journal staff, the members were asked what their role in Jay Journal is and why they are a part of Jay Journal
Jimmy Rosenthal
- “I would say I take pictures for sports and I write stories on what we need to cover.”
- “I have always been into photography, so I thought it would be a good idea to join.”
Adam Gray
- “I take videos for sports and work on the yearbook.”
- “Coming into Prep, I signed up for architecture class, but ended up here, so I just stayed.”
Andrew Schmaderer
- “I edit videos. I work on the yearbook and stories at Prep.”
- “I signed up for intro to digital media freshman year, and decided I wanted to do that next semester as well. And now I’m here.”
James Heldridge
- “Photographs, graphics, yearbook.”
- “I joined by accident, but ended up liking the class so I stayed.”
Jack Moore
- “I produce a lot of videos. I’m usually doing something for one the live streams, do the lower level tech stuff.”
- “Honestly I needed another class senior year and had fun so I stayed.”
Thomas Burbridge
- “I shoot sports and masses.”
- “It’s a fun class.”
Aiden Hruska
- “I bring the entertainment as well as the grad at grad.”
- “I like Mr. Raz and I like making videos”
Jake Sobczyk
- “ I bring a positive energy to a very intelligent and hard-working group and come up with good and original story ideas.”
- “I thought I was going to be interested in sports news. I want to start my own sports talk show one day.”
Ethan Buso
- “I record podcasts and do predictions.”
- “I took the intro class and really liked it, so I want to keep doing it.”.
Grant Morrissey
- “I do stories, and fun videos.”
- “I thought that Jay Journal should have a fun side toward what Prep does.”
Miles Hay
- “I write stories and shoot pictures and videos for school.”
- “I liked the class freshman and junior year, so I decided to do it again. Writing is something I would want to do in the future.
