Jenne Gregor, Math
Q: What is your hometown?
A: Holdrege, Nebraska.
Q: What was your previous occupation?
A: I was a teacher at Central.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: Creighton.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I watch a lot of football. I like watching my kids’ activities.
Q: What is your favorite sports team?
A: The Huskers. And the Bengals for the NFL.
Q: What are your thoughts on Prep so far?
A: I think it’s great. The block schedule is tough for me to get used to because I’ve never taught it like that before. But I really like the people here—I really like the students.
Q: Do you have a guilty pleasure song or band you like to listen to?
A: Not really. I’ll listen to music on Sirius driving to and from work, and that’s gonna be just regular, current music.
Q: Who is your favorite late-night talk show host?
A: Jimmy Fallon.
Q: Do you prefer Cane’s or Chick-fil-A?
A: Cane’s.
Adam Winters, Integrated Arts & Technology
Q: What is your hometown?
A: I’m from Waverly, Nebraska. Waverly Vikings, baby!
Q: What was your previous occupation?
A: Before Creighton Prep, I taught Business and Personal Finance at Lincoln High.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: Nebraska Wesleyan.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I like ultimate frisbee, sci-fi movies and computer science things, so tinkering with computers and stuff like that.
Q: What are your favorite sports teams?
A: Manchester City; I like the teams that nobody else likes. I’m also a Colorado Buffaloes fan. I don’t watch American sports anymore, cause all I do is watch Man City dominate. I’m originally from Colorado, so I’m also a Denver fan.
Q: What are your thoughts on Prep?
A: It has been amazing. The kids have been really good, really driven, the resources available to all the teachers and all the students have been amazing, especially compared to previous schools I’ve worked at before, so I’m excited to see what we can do.
Q: What song are you ashamed to admit you listen to?
A: I do kind of like “Baby” by Justin Bieber when he still like a 15 year old boy. I haven’t listened to the song in years, but I know I like it.
Q: Who is your favorite late-night talk show host?
A: Jimmy Fallon.
Q: Cane’s or Chick-Fil-A?
A: Definitely Chick-Fil-A. Raising Cane’s was my go-to for a long time and then they brought a Chick-Fil-A to Lincoln last year or a year and a half ago, changed my life, forever. Their chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets are so good.
