As the school year begins, some major changes have been made to the school’s dress code.
Mixed reactions have followed these changes, but it seems it was received generally well by the students.
“Not having to worry about getting in trouble in the hallway with my shirt untucked or my hair being too long is nice,” Senior Jack Moore said.
More notable changes include:
- Polo shirts no longer being required to be tucked in
- Visible tattoos are now allowed
- Hair on the head has no more restrictions other than that it should be neat
- Stud earrings are able to be worn but dangle earrings are not
- Demerit cards are no longer little slips of paper, but QR codes on the back of student IDs.
- Formal dress has been reserved only for special masses, like the Mass of the Holy Spirit.
